He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Richardson and Elva Richardson (Walter); his wife Janet Elliott; and his siblings, Robert, Richard, Lynford, Lamont, Raymond, Walt, Leon Jr., Howard, Donald, William Richardson, Luana Raymond, Wilma Feight-Recker, Winona Pospisal and Juanita Raymond.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Ruiz (David) of Mesa, Terry Richardson (Susan) of Onsted and Kellie Richardson (Ray Illenden) of Adrian. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
