He is survived by: his children, Lauri Sewell (Don) of Adrian, MI, Kati Halsey of Addison and Joel Halsey (Kerri) of Knoxville, TN; his sister Mildred Schultz (Lee) of Belfair, WA; his grandchildren, Haley, Taylor McGill, Ethan Sewell and Danner Halsey; his great grandchild Klayton McGill; his niece Teri Anthony (Todd); his great-nephew Mitch Anthony (Hailee); and his great-niece Britney Friedrich (Zechariah).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Handler Funeral Home-Tecumseh Chapel (313 W Pottawatamie St, Tecumseh, MI 49286). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
