He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mose Deaton and Mary Deaton (Cook); his daughters, Mary Deaton (Ian Avitts) and Christina Sample (Jahred Renner); his stepchildren, Ashley, Tara, Joshua Rosebush and Jeremy Sample; his girlfriend Minerva Warner; and his siblings, Kathy Taylor (Michael), Tammy Woodward (Steve) and Michael Deaton.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Flint Memorial Park (9506 N Dort Hwy, Mt Morris, MI 48458).

Memorial donations in Ralph's memory may be given to the family for future designation.
