It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Lee Adkins of Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wingfield and Evelyn Wingfield; her husband Larry Lee Adkins; and her siblings, Gloria Roy, Barbara Dilley, Jim Wingfield and Paul Wingfield.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Rynicki (Michael) of Livonia, Robert Adkins (Linda) of Goshen, IN, Shannon Adkins (Beth) of Adrian, Clayton Adkins (Barb) of Adrian and Derek Adkins (Cheryl) of Lansing; her grandchildren, Mallory Tonero, Sean Tonero (Carrimee), Michael Rynicki (Tiffanie), Haydn Adkins (Katie), Mia Adkins, Grace Adkins, Andy Adkins, Bryce Adkins (Brooklyn), Gabrielle Adkins, Alyssa Banda, Dianna Lacey (Zack), Anthony Banda (Tara), Jonathan Adkins, Jeremiah Adkins and Gabriel Adkins; and her brothers, Frank Wingfield (Ann) and John Wingfield (Jean). She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home (2959 N Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI 49221). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
