He was predeceased by: his aunt Elizabeth Abner; and his uncles, David Abner and Douglas Bannister. He is survived by: his parents, Donald Bannister and Heidi Bannister (Abner) of Adrian; his brothers, Allen Bannister and Christopher Bannister of Adrian; his son Malachi Bannister of Adrian; his significant other Keionda Hampton of Adrian; and his grandparents, Richard, Lynn Bannister of Adrian, Gary and Nancy Abner of Tipton.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to the Ian Bannister Memorial to benefit his son Malachi Bannister. Donations can be made to the Ian Bannister Memorial at any TLC Community Credit Union location.
