He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Collins and Jessie Mae Collins (Haynes); his wife Leona Collins (Sanders); his sons, Reginald Collins of Lithonia, GA and Henry E. Collins Jr. of Valdosta, GA; and his siblings, Mamie Gladney, Willemae Holman, Robert Lee Collins, John Collins and George Carradine.
He is survived by: his children, Lydia Collins of Syracuse, NY, Gerald Sanders of Boston, MA, Rodney Collins of Syracuse, NY, Cedric Collins of Syracuse, NY and George Collins of Adrian, MI; and his brother Rufus Collins Jr. of Mississippi. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
