He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy L. North and Esther H. North (Bisewski); his wife Virginia M. Golembiewski; his daughter Patricia Duncan; his son-in-law Ron Sloan; his siblings, Harold North (Josephine), John North (Delores) and Mildred Ryder (Ed); and his brother-in-law Rupert Miller.
He is survived by: his children, George North, Jr. (Sue), Linda M. Sloan and Susan Ehinger (Chris); his grandchildren, Jeffrey North, Bryan North (Joyce), Joshua North (Belia), Mandi Strayer, Jennifer Krause (Steve), Jessica Sloan and Kacie Ehinger; his great grandchildren, Daniel Beddingfield and Brandon Rau; and his nephew Greg North (Dee). He is also survived by numerous other great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
