He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Oliver and Wanda Mae Van Etten (Spencley). He is survived by: his wife Melissa Elliott (Lissa); his children, Luke (Karen), Justin (Ashley) and Bethany VanEtten; his grandchildren, Everett, Daniel, Jaiden, Kylie and Isla; and his siblings, DeWayne VanEtten (Wendy), Doug VanEtten (Carla), Debra Zakrajsek (Todd), Denise VanEtten (Gary Clavette) and Darlene McMunn (Glen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (333 E Siena Heights Dr, Adrian, MI 49221).
Memorial donations in Dan's memory may be given to the American Heart Association or the charity of the donor's choice.
