Christopher James Whaley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher James Whaley of Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whaley and Harriet Whaley; his stepmother Joanne Whaley; his brother Jimmy Whaley; his parents-in-law, Tom and Ellen Schwartz; and his brother-in-law Butch Schwartz.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Whaley; his children, Emily, Katie and Colin; his siblings, Sue Wright (Ed) and Brent Hopson; his siblings-in-law, Tom Schwartz, Kathy Jo Schwartz and Sharon Schwartz; his niece Brooke Douglas (Austin); and his nephews, Charlie Schwartz (Shayna), Michael Schwartz (Erin) and Nick Schwartz (Mary). He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Parish (415 Ormsby St, Adrian, MI 49221).
