He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Prins and William Prins; his sister Greta Battaglia; and his daughter Kelly Nielsen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anne (Langlois); his children, Rick Prins (Julia) and Kristin Kemppainen (Tom); his grandchildren, Taylor Myers (Kory), Riley Nielsen (Grace), Alyssa, Sydney Prins, Aleksi and Kiera Kemppainen; his great grandchildren, Rosalie Anne, Lainey K Myers and Reagan Kelly Nielsen; and also Mike Nielsen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Parnell (4351 Parnell Ave NE, Ada, MI 49301). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
