It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Dunfey Nelson (Ada, Michigan), who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her husband R. Paul Nelson; her children, John (Deb), Amy Marchinda (David) and Michael (Tricia); and her brothers, William Dunfey (Joan) and Richard Dunfey (Marilyn). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, please give donations to St. John Vianney elementary school, 4101 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509 where Mrs. Nelson spent her working years as a kindergarten teacher and fondly remembered every student. Donations to Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook SE Suite 300 Grand Rapids, MI 49546-5783 will also kindly be accepted with special thanks to her loving nurse Tammi who became part of our family in the final weeks.
