He was predeceased by: his father Dennis M. Walters. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Walters (Craft); his children, David R. Walters (Abigail) and Lindsey M. Fine (Austin); his grandson Grayson Randall Fine; his children, Nicholas A. Ecker (Sierra) and Krysta M. Ecker (Christopher); his mother Kathleen J. Hessler (Terry); and his brothers, Timothy M. Walters (Angie) and Jeffrey S. Walters (Katie). He is also survived by one niece, three nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Randall D. Walters "Randyland" Memorial Fund to benefit the Grand Rapids Fire Department Honor Guard as well as The Heart of Medicine to continue the important medical relief work in Haiti.
