He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gray and Rosalee Gray; his brother Frank Gray (Weezle); his nephews, Corlando and Orlando Gray; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charles, Phil Gray Jr. (June), Phil Henderson Gray III, Lendar Boatman Black and Theresa Gray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Gray (Mickki) of Muskegon, Felice Mahoney Winger of Hyrum and Felicia Gray of Georgia; his daughters-in-law, Shawn Gray of Arizona and Sanitha Douglass of Alabama; his sons, Walter Gray (Lee) of Mesa Arizona, James Gray of Muskegon, Phil Gray IV of Grand Rapids, Rodney Henderson of Carbondale and Patrick Douglass of Birmingham, Alabama.; and his close friend Henrietta Buggs (Easter). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 56 great- grand children and 4 great great grandchildren.
