He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Whitten and Edith Whitten; and his wife Beverley Whitten. He is survived by: his son Rick Whitten (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Cory Whitten (Erica), Jason Whitten (Kristin) and Jessica Mohan (Erik); his stepdaughter Leisa Carr; his sister Pat Kurzynowski; his siblings-in-law, Terry Adams (Linda) and Dee Housenkamp (Dick); and his close friends, Dick and Julie Ryan. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
