He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catherine Austin and Richard Austin; his wife Debbie; his children, Ashley Austin of Chicago and Alex Austin of Denver; and his siblings, James Austin (Barb), Jon Austin (Lori), Jane Christine (Terry), June Noel (Kelly) and Julie Vanderwater (Brett). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The National Parks Foundation, The American Heart Association, or World Mission Inc.
