He is survived by: his children, Charlie, Josie and Ben; his wife Emalyn Jade; his children, Charles Gabriel, Josephine Caroline and Benjamin Brooks; his father John H Twist; his siblings, Mary van Opstal (Chris), Brooks Twist and Barbara Twist; his parents-in-law, Jodi and Gabriel Beversluis; his sisters-in-law, Madison, Grace and Halle Beversluis; his nephews, Marius and Kai; his niece Lotte; his grandmother Barbara Robinson; his uncles, John Robinson (Betsi) and Peter Robinson; his aunt Mary Robinson (Tom); his grandmother Joan Robinson; his cousins, Emily Robinson (Rous), Sam Simmons, Caroline Robinson, Peter Simmons and John Michael Robinson; his aunts, Alison Yarger (Glenn) and Feef Dillon (Rick); and his cousins, Travis Glenn (Tammi), Cabe Churchill (Katy), Keegan Dillon and Remy Dillon.

On Friday, October 25, he saved six lives and gave others life-changing gifts through organ and tissue donations.
