It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hal Smith (Ada, Michigan), born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Smith and Harriet Smith (Cutler); and his stepfather Donald Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smith (Clark); his children, Linda Keating (John), Michael Smith (Brenda), Julie Smith, Timothy Smith and Kerry Smith; his grandchildren, Patrick Keating, Lauren Bonnema (Griffin), Katherine Schember (Ryan), Stone Smith, Rockne Smith, Kensie Smith, Kelsey Smith, Erin Smith, Patrick Smith, Hunter Karle, Payton Karle and Ryder Karle; and his brother Kevin Smith (Lori). He is also survived by four stepsisters, two stepbrothers, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
