It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Olson (Ada, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Olson and Nellie Olson; his former wife Doris (Peet); his wife Betty (Leestma); his son Jim Olson; and his brothers, Roland and William Olson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Beck (Robert Grant) and Janet Olson (Jim Stephens); his daughter-in-law Darcy Olson; and his grandchildren, LeAnn Olson, Christopher Olson, Kelly Pawlowski, Timothy Olson, Rachel Beck, Erin Beck and Kayla Olson. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart or Alzheimer's Associations.
