He was predeceased by: his sister Ani Haiganoush Manougian; and his parents, Nerses Manougian and Marie Manougian. He is survived by: his sons, Peter Manougian (Kristina) and Michael Manougian (Katie); and his siblings, Dr. Ara Manougian (Toni Manougian) and Sosy Maral Shishmanian. He is also survived by three nieces, three nephews, and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Officers' Christian Fellowship, First Armenian Church, Belmont, MA, or Armenian Presbyterian Church, Paramus, NJ.
