Though Maureen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maureen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fernando Freitas and Elizabeth Freitas; her brothers, Frank, Bob, David and Jeffrey; her sisters-in-law, Pat, Trish and Kay; her husband Albert B. West; and her son David Schefer.
She is survived by: her children, William H. Schefer (Donna), Ellen Cronin (Mark D'Ambrosio) and Jacqueline Bono (Jeremy). She is also survived by her family grow and was proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
