Frances J. (Fran) Banks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances J. (Fran) Banks of York, Maine, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Frances departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Frances. Though Frances may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her son Kevin Banks; and her significant other Fred Strew. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Strew, Rebecca Goodale and Shelley Phillips. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion (656 Main St, Springvale, ME 04083).
Instead of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Fran's name to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital.
