He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Marcolina and Mary Marcolina (Allen); his wife Kristine M. Marcolina (Santoro); and his sister Mary Lou Scacciotti. He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Marie Palmer (Robert) of Dracut and Angela Marcolina (Christopher Lee) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Sarah, Nathan, Benjamin and Addison; his siblings, Gary Marcolina (Ann Marie) of Waltham and Judy Jackson (George) of Georgia; and his brother-in-law Frank Scacciotti of Washington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
