He is survived by: his wife Joan Flaherty (Hutchins); his son Michael of Yarmouth; his stepson Barry Hutchins; his daughter Ashley Flaherty; and his siblings, Raymond, Louis Flaherty and Catherine Young (Kate). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
