With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M. Dewachter (Yarmouth, Maine), who passed away on July 14, 2015 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Alphonse DeWachter; and her siblings, John Zeitler, Nancy Beeman and Peggy Kline. She is survived by: her parents, Albert Leo Zeitler and Eleanor Tyler; her daughter Linda Brown; her son-in-law James Brown; her son James DeWachter; her daughter-in-law Mary Willson; and her son Robert DeWachter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Iris Network, Portland, Maine.
