He was predeceased by: his son David "Duffy" Darling; and his parents-in-law, Gail and Jim Murney (Joyce Levasseur). He is survived by: his friends, Gary, Anne Anderson and Hudson of Florida; his daughter Julia Darling Soper (Brian) of Cundy's Harbor; his grandchildren, Sarah Soper Weippert (David) of Salt and Zachary Soper (Mairead) of Cundy's Harbor; and his brothers, Daniel and Clinton "Loss" Darling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
