She was predeceased by: her husband George Blackwell; and her siblings, Thomas, John, Joseph Blake, Mary Brown, Martha Greeley, Theresa O'Boyle, Helen Blake, Elizabeth Soule, Mildred Sweetser and Anne Doyle (Nancy).
She is survived by: her daughter Judith Blackwell Smith (Robert); her grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Holly Woodman), Andrew Smith (Nicholas Gill) and Stephanie Smith; her great grandchildren, Anna and Landon (Matthew); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Blackwell Faatz (Wright) and Joanne Blackwell Conley (David). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
