She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Byron and Inez Porter of Peru Maine; her husband Finley F. Allen; her siblings, Ann Weston and Arthur; her daughter Cherie; and her grandchildren, Daisy, Josh and Harry.

She is survived by: her children, Dawn Gordon, Tracy Walker, Finley, Gen and John Allen. She is also survived by 8 grand children.
