He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel B. Mitchell. He is survived by: his parents, Caleb R. of Bowdoinham and Helen G. Mitchell of Bowdoinham; and his sons, Loy B. Mitchell (Kathleen) and Rod B. Mitchell (Rosemary). He is also survived by four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
