Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia Stickney Cooper of Wiscasset, Maine, who passed away at the age of 93, on February 11, 2022. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles E. Stickney and Medora Stickney (Haskell); her husband Douglas 'Gabby" Keniston Cooper; her children, Ida Cooper Peterson (Jeffrey) of Falls Church, VA, Douglas Keniston Cooper, Jr. of Wiscasset, Laura Cooper Chaney (Michael) of Alna and Olivia Cooper of Concord, NH; her son-in-law Lawrence Stover; her grandchildren, Daniel Chaney, Philip Chaney, Eben Chaney, Jessica Chaney Richards (Ben), James Peterson and Madison Stover; and her great-grandparents, Natalie, Caroline and Abigail Richards.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginny's honor be given to the "Cooper-DiPerri Scholarship Fund" to help provide low income families, seniors, and youth access to all of the programs offered at the Wiscasset Parks & Recreation Dept. addressed to the Wiscasset Community Center, 242 Gardiner Rd, Wiscasset, ME 04578.
