He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fairfield, Sr. of Washington and Daisy Fairfield (House); his wife Marguerite Fairfield (Bailey); and his siblings, George Fairfield, Jr., Fred Fairfield and Beverly Haley (Fairfield).
He is survived by: his children, Donald Fairfield (Mary Ellen) of North Haverhill, NH, Schuyler Fairfield Jr. (Megan) of Zurich Switzerland, Elizabeth "Liz" Brown (Louis) of Mapleton, Marita Fairfield of Newcastle and Cynthia Seigars (John) of Alna; his siblings, Robert Fairfield of Woolwich, Richard Fairfield of Bonita Springs, FL and Madeline Langelier of Spring Hill, FL; his grandchildren, Samuel Joseph Fairfield (Sarah Stanley), Elaine Jane Blevins (Michael), Tiffany Lynn Brown, Matthew Louis Brown (Lauren), Marguerita Skye Fairfield, Brandon Lee Seigars, Sabrina Tess Fairfield and Alec Schuyler Fairfield; and his great grandchildren, Aidric, Kiara, Jacob, Nicolas, Justin, Kamdyn, Kaleb, Danika, Blake, Roman and Porter.
While the ceremony was canceled due to the pandemic, he was one of only 37 residents of assisted living and long-term care facilities statewide to be selected for this lifetime achievement award.
Memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Hospice of Maine or Cove's Edge of Damariscotta- Activities Fund.
