He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Joseph and Bertha Margaret Grundy (Quinn); his wife Cornelia G. Grundy; his son Jason M. Grundy; his sister Eleanor Pokraka; his son John E. Grundy (Leigh) of Stow, MA; his granddaughters, Christine G. Grundy of Wiscasset and Jennifer L. Trowbridge (Andrew) of Franklin; and his siblings, Henry F. Grundy (Hillary) of France, James W. Grundy (Beverly) of Rhode Island and Marianne Doyle of Virginia. He was also cherished by four granddaughters and many special nieces and nephews.
