She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donald M. Petrie and Frances Sarah Estella Petrie (Cowley); her husband Sumner B. Shorey Jr.; her siblings, Gordon Petrie and Marilyn Jones; her sons, Richard Shorey (Susan) of Westport Island and Peter Shorey of Wiscasset; and her sisters, Barbara Sanborn of Brewer and Priscilla Campbell of Bath.
