It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha Melnuk (Wiscasset, Maine), born in Farmingdale, Maine, who passed away on December 11, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert B. Melnuk; her son Robert G. Melnuk; her siblings, John Daigle, Rita Garland, Mary Wright and Lorraine Wright; her grandchildren, Tiffany Melnuk and Matthew Melnuk; and her great grandchild Hunter Woodman.

She is survived by: her parents, William Daigle and Elsie Daigle (James); her daughter Bonita "Bonnie" Woodman (David) of Woolwich; her siblings, Norman Daigle of Gardiner and Nancy Boudreau of Largo, FL; her grandchildren, Daniel Woodman (Karen) of Wiscasset, David Woodman of Seabrook, NH, Jeffery Woodman of South Portland, Jason Melnuk (Michaelle) of Fredericksburg, VA and Rebecca Shepardson of Oakland; and her pet Katie. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
