He was predeceased by: his parents, George Demers and Armance Demers (Cote); his daughter Nancy Bouthot; and his siblings, Willy Demers, Armand Demers, Leo Demers, Beatrice, Rita Ferland and Florence.
He is survived by: his wife Ina H. Demers of Wiscasset; his children, Arthur R. Demers of Wilson Mills, Richard R. Demers of Berlin, NH, Paul Demers (Susan) of Monmouth and Elizabeth Demers of Wiscasset; and his grandchildren, Beth Bukala, Jill Demers, Nicky Demers and Dustin Bouthot.
