It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Violette DePlanche of Winthrop, Maine, born in Augusta, Maine, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Violette and Rose Violette; her husband Paul DePlanche; her sisters, Gerine Bridges (James Bridges) and Jackie Lachance; her nephews, Jimmy Bridges, Raymond Violette and Joshua Violette; and her great-niece Katelyn Roselia Bridges.
She is survived by: her son Richie Lachance; her grandchildren, Liana and Sarah Lachance; and her siblings, Leo Violette (Rina), Conrad Violette, Rita Violette and Lorraine Dudley (Robert).
