She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ansil Wilson and Patricia Hall; her husband Robert Leighton; her daughter Donna (Robert Scott) of Sullivan; her granddaughters, Bev (Danny Sargent) of Ellsworth, Heather (Colie Haskell) of Ellsworth and Katrina (Ryan Willette) of Surry; her great grandchildren, Elise Sargent, Evan Haskell, Maya and Hudson Willette; her stepchildren, Scott (Ruth Leighton) of Wiscasset, Luanne (Roger Chipman) of Birch Harbor, Lori (Donald Ferguson) of Waldoboro, Leta Leighton (Christine Longtin) of Brewer, Michael Leighton (Marc Fernandes) of Warwick and Richard (Michelle Leighton) of Winter Harbor; and her son Vernon Young. She was also cherished by 11 step grand-children, and several step great-grandchildren.
