He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. and Marguerite H. Kelley (Leighton); and his son Keith. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Kevin Kelley (Cristy) of Aurora, CO and Karen Smith (Larry) of Winter Harbor; his grandchildren, Christlyn Rains, Clifford Kelley, Andrew Smith (Ashley), Mark Smith (Cheyenne) and Lee Smith; his great grandchildren, Ahtumn, Wynter, Connor, Annabelle, Collin, Kowen and Isaac; his sister Norma Murray; and his niece Susan Soper.
