We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Merrill Greene Cowperthwaite of Windham, Maine, born in Monticello, Maine. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Cowperthwaite (Greene) and Ellery Cowperthwaite; his wife Marguerite Griffin Cowperthwaite (Maggie); his brothers, Gerald and Frank Cowperthwaite; and his friend Pauline Goss (Polly).

He is survived by: his children, David Cowperthwaite of Wilton, Susan Wallace (Bob) of St. Stephen, Merry Shaw of Seminole, Florida and Mark Cowperthwaite (Kim) of Windham; and his brother Stephen Cowperthwaite of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
