He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John William and Mary Burr DeWever (August); his former wife Karen Smith (Krenke) of South Portland; his children, Heather (Zielinski) of Covington Township, PA, Zachary (Jesica) of Allentown, PA, Thomas of Portland, ME and Daniel (Ashley) of Richmond, ME.; his close friend Joanne Brumell; and his grandchildren, Ezekiel DeWever, Emmet DeWever, Karley Nault, Joshua Zielinski, Juliette DeWever, Jakob and Jefferson Petersen.
