He was predeceased by: his parents, James Irving and Nellie Sawyer (Buckley); and his siblings, Lewis, Gladys of Portland, Edna of Portland and Delores of Portland.
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Sawyer (Foster); his sons, Frank (Mary) of Auburn and Marty; his stepson Danny (Shelly) of Buxton; his daughter Katy (Bertel) of Windham; and his sister Victoria Conley of Scarborough. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
