He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack and Hazel (Fraser). He is survived by: his wife Laura Pecoraro; his brother Peter (Nancy Margiloff); his daughters, Jennifer, Susan Margiloff and Melissa (Nick D'Alfonso); his grandchildren, Joshua D'Alfonso, Melanie Veilleux, Nick, Casey D'Alfonso, Anthony and Kristie D'Alfonso; his children, Kristal Karatsanos (Mike Harriman) and Donn Karatsanos, Jr. (Danielle); his sister Marjorie Hillyer (Sheila Anderson); his nephew Scott; and his friends, Debbie Bailey, Josi, David Haskell, Keith, Sue Gurney, Jeff, Lisa Weeks, Per Hanson, David Arsenault, Hager, Cheryl Noel and Beverly Preston.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the South Windham Community Church (31 Main St, Windham, ME 04062).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Animal Refuge League (http://www.arlgp.org) or at 217 Landing Road, Westbrook, Maine 04092 so that more senior dogs can be adopted, as pets made a huge difference in his life.
