He is survived by: his children, Greg Arruda and Dede Perkins (Tony); his granddaughters, Kate Gaskill (Chris), Carly Perkins (Josh Brostoff) and Haley Perkins; his great grandchild Nora Gaskill; his sister Marianne Cookson; and his sister-in-law Corinne Arruda.
He raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charitable organizations whose missions supported children, such as The Michael A. Campanelli Scholarship Foundation and the Caring for Kids Foundation.
