He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Bennett Gile; and his sisters, Muriel Rollins, Edrie Sutcliffe, Marion Smith, Ruth Pidacks, Mildred Sawyer and Nathalie Luce.
He is survived by: his sisters, Carroll and Florence Gile of Rangeley; his children, Sonja Fischer (Rick) and Bob Keaffer (Monica); his grandchildren, Ryan Gile Fischer (Ashley), Patrice Haning (Jacob), Lee Keaffer (Melanie) and Toria Edge (Andreu); and his great grandchildren, Eli, Molly and Jordan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
