He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Waite and Gertrude Waite (Russell); his brother David Waite; his stepmother Emma Waite; and his granddaughter Susan Wheeler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Helen (Allen Wilson), Luanne (Robert Witt) and Merry Waite (Mary). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren; also, many nieces and nephews.
