She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruel B. and Hazel M. Orff Sr. (Mayo); her husband Rudolph Toothaker (Rudy); her grandson Michael Backus; her siblings, Ruel Orff Jr. and Mary Farnum; her siblings-in-law, George Farnum, Edgar Whinery and Myrna Orff; and her grandson-in-law Rodney Schanck.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda T. Stinson of Wilton; her grandchildren, Rhonda Schanck, Angela Wedge (Steve) and Mathew Bickford (MiChel); her siblings, Reta Whinery of Wilton and Malcolm Orff; her sister-in-law Joyce Orff of Wilton; her granddaughter-in-law Kristie Backus; and her friend Barbara Black.
