He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ross Harris and Florence Austin Harris Bickford; and his brothers, Albert, Leslie and Calvin Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce J. Harris of Wilton; his children, Sammie Angel of Dixfield and Jim Harris of Kennebunk; his sisters, April Grant, Phyllis Mason and Sharon Carter; his grandchildren, Jessica, Hunter and Jennifer; and also Albert "Buster" Harris. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
