He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hinkley and Dorothea Elliott (Bruce); his wife Barbara; and his brother Don. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Waite; and his children, Virginia Rowell (Chris) and Guy Haines (Naomi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barbara Bush Hospital, St. Jude's, or the Shriners Childrens Hospital.
