He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Waugh and Arlene Waugh (Thompson); his wife Barbara G. Johnson; and his sister Joan Beisaw. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Macomber (David) of Wilton, ME and Patricia Waugh (Jon) of Raymond, ME; his grandchildren, Melissa Hunt (Dan) of Marietta, GA, Nicholas Godin of Standish, ME, Jonathan Macomber of Wilton, ME and Brandi Chase (Doug) of Barton, FL; and his close friend Eleanor Fitch. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons.
