It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Spencer of Wilton, Maine, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Spencer and Martha Jean Terry Spencer; her spouse Linden Crawforth; her sons, Scott Quackenbush and Linden Crawforth Jr.; and her sister Paula Galbraith (Linden Crawforth).
She is survived by: her children, Chris, Steven Quackenbush of Wilton, Christopher Quackenbush (Emily) of Centennial, CO, Laurie Cooper (Christopher) and Melissa Crawforth of Phoenix, AZ; and her grandchildren, Ethan, Cole Quackenbush of Centennial, CO., Jordan Cooper (Cyndi) of Tucson Arizona and Jessica Jones (Tyler) of Nashville, TN..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tyngtown Club, PO Box 665, Wilton, ME 04294. These donations will be used for a local project to address the problem of child hunger, a cause close to Anita's heart.
