She was predeceased by: her father William Walker; her sister Alma Lenney; her stepfather Robert Sumpter; her mother Grace Sumpter (Rains); and her significant other Ian Heppel.

She is survived by: her children, Melissa Bachelder (Matt) of Edgecomb and Micheal Morris of Whitefield; her brothers, Jimmy Walker and Bill Walker; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Walsh, Linda Heppel, Charlie Heppel and Eddie Heppel (Craig Lenfestey).
